Injection Quill Series with female side connection

US made injection quills offer 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ MNPT process connections with 1/2″ FNTP pump side connections.

Quills made from Type 316 SS, Alloy 20 and Hastelloy C276 can be used for high temperature and high pressure applications.

Available with built in ball check valves to prevent backflow through the nozzle and into the chemical feed line, or with no check valve.

There are two flat surfaces on the external portion of the nozzle so a wrench can be used during installation. Install injection quill with V notch facing into the flow for the most rapid dispersal of injected chemicals into the stream.

Standard quill length is 70mm. Custom lengths up to 24” (610 mm) are available upon request.

Injection Quill Assembly

Typical application: used in applications where shutting down a system to maintain the metering pump and/or check valve is not an option.

Every quill assembly comes standard with 70mm injection quill type 316 SS (no internal check), ball valve type 316 SS with Teflon seals, and a check valve type 316 SS – ball and Spring.

Assembly consists of:

– 1/2″ MNPT process connection
– 1/2″ FNPT pump connection
– 1/2″ Ball valve with Teflon Seals
– 1/2″ Check valve with ball & spring type 316 SS

*Note: unit comes assembled

The check valve has built in ball to prevent backflow through the nozzle and into the chemical feed line. Crack pressure on the injection quill is 15 psi.
