Injection Quills, Male-Male
Our U.S.-made injection quills carry the dosed chemical from the metering pump into the middle of the pipe, where the flow mixes it in quickly and evenly, away from the pipe wall. The male-male quill has male NPT threads at both ends: 1/2″, 3/4″ or 1″ into the process line, and the same size to the pump line.

Injection Quills, Male-Female
Our U.S.-made male-female quill screws into the process line with a 1/2″, 3/4″ or 1″ male NPT thread and takes the pump line in a 1/2″ female NPT connection, carrying the chemical into the middle of the pipe for even mixing.

Injection Quill Assembly
For systems that cannot be shut down: the isolation ball valve closes off the line, so the metering pump or the check valve can be serviced while the plant keeps running. Each assembly joins a 70 mm injection quill, an isolation ball valve and an external ball and spring check valve, with a 1/2″ female NPT connection for the pump line.

Installing an Injection Quill
- Fit the quill below the horizontal centreline of the pipe, with its tip between the 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock positions.
- Choose the wetted material from the chemical’s safety data sheet and its chemical compatibility.
- Where the plant cannot be shut down, use the quill assembly, or a corporation stop to insert and withdraw the quill under pressure.
