ST-723 High Temperature Conductivity Sensor

ST-723 High Temperature Conductivity Sensor

The Pyxis ST-723 is an inline conductivity sensor built for hot, pressurised water. It reads boiler water and other process samples directly at up to 200 °C and 20.6 bar (300 psi), across a range of 0 – 20,000 µS/cm.

It is a smart sensor with its own transmitter: a two-pole Hastelloy electrode, a built-in PT-100 for temperature, and two 4–20 mA outputs (conductivity and temperature) plus RS-485 Modbus, so it connects straight to a boiler controller, PLC or DCS. Calibration and set-up are done wirelessly from a phone or computer with the MA-CR Bluetooth® adapter and the uPyxis® app.

Cooling Fins Protect the Electronics

A finned 316L stainless steel section sits between the wetted electrode head and the electronics. It sheds heat before it reaches the transmitter, which is what lets the sensor sit in water at boiler temperatures and still give a stable reading.

Ideal for Boilers & Process Water

Conductivity tells a boiler operator how much dissolved solids the water is carrying, and therefore when to blow down. The ST-723 is made for boiler feedwater, blowdown and condensate, and for timed-capture samples taken straight from a pressurised boiler, as well as for cooled samples measured continuously. It suits any other process line where the water is too hot or under too much pressure for an ordinary conductivity sensor.
