Submersible Liquid Level Sensors
Hydrostatic Level Measurement for Chemical and Water Tanks
The Icon Process Controls LevelPro® submersible sensors sit on the bottom of the tank and read the level from the weight of liquid above them. Foam, vapour, turbulence and condensation on the tank roof have no effect on the reading, so they work where ultrasonic sensors struggle.
A weight moulded into the body keeps the sensor on the bottom, with no floating and no extra mounting. There are no moving parts, nothing to clog and no programming.
Four models are available:
- 100 Series – ceramic diaphragm; PVC, PP, PVDF, PTFE or 316 SS body; 4–20 mA, HART, voltage or RS-485, with an optional temperature output
- 200C Series – capacitive ceramic sensing, suited to viscous liquids; PVC, PP, PVDF or PTFE body
- 300S Series – 316L stainless steel body and diaphragm; bird-cage version for wastewater and sludge; explosion-proof 300Sxi
- TankPro® – a 100 Series sensor with its own LCD display, mounted on top of the tank; loop-powered 4–20 mA
Built for Corrosive Chemicals
Every model has a Kalrez® O-ring and a Teflon® jacketed cable with a built-in vent tube. The LP100 junction box, sold separately, keeps chemical fumes away from the wiring.
