Every MixRite runs on the water pressure alone, with no electricity, and doses in proportion to the water flow. Water temperature 4 – 40 °C. On/Off and air-release covers are available on every size.
Before dosing an aggressive chemical, check with us that it suits the pump; Tefen asks for this, and we will confirm the right version.
MixRite LF-1000

Tefen’s smallest MixRite, now in its range in place of the MixRite 1: made for very low water use, such as the first days of a poultry flock. It works up to 4 bar and has no chlorine (CL) version; for chlorine at low flows, choose the MixRite 2.5 CL.
MixRite 2.5

The widest dosing range of the MixRite pumps, and the only one dosing up to 10%.
MixRite PVDF – for acids
For dosing acids, such as for pH correction, Tefen makes the MixRite 2.5 and 3.5 with a PVDF body. Tefen recommends PVDF once the acid in the stock solution is stronger than 6%.
- What is different: a PVDF body, for its resistance to corrosive chemicals, oxidation and UV; Aflas seals; a stainless steel and Hastelloy spring
- MixRite 2.5 PVDF: 0.4 – 4% (1:250 – 1:25), up to 2,500 L/h
- MixRite 3.5 PVDF: 0.1 – 0.9%, 0.3 – 2%, 0.5 – 5% and 1 – 10% (1:1000 – 1:10), up to 3,500 L/h (from 20 L/h at 0.5 – 5%, and 50 L/h at 1 – 10%)
- Internal bypass: the 0.5 – 5% and 1 – 10% models have one, which Tefen says gives a longer life and higher chemical resistance
- As the standard pumps: water pressure 0.2 – 8 bar, ¾″ BSPT, no electricity

Installing a MixRite
- Fit a filter (120 mesh, 130 micron) and a backflow preventer before the MixRite, as the local rules for the water supply require.
- Install it with the water flowing in the direction of the arrows on the pump.
- Hang the strainer at least 10 cm above the bottom of the additive tank.
- Install it on a bypass line where the water flow is higher than the pump’s range, or the pump is not needed all the time.
- Never install it above an acid container, and drain it when the temperature may fall below 4 °C.
