ST-730SS-T Series Stainless Steel Turbidity Sensors

ST-730SS-T Series Stainless Steel Turbidity Sensors

Removable Inline Turbidity Sensors for High-Pressure Systems

The Pyxis ST-730SS-T series are stainless steel inline turbidity sensors. They slide into the Pyxis ST-009 stainless steel tee or multi-sensor manifold, which take pressures up to 20 bar, and can be removed again without opening the pipework.

Two models are available:

  • ST-730SS-T – 0 to 100 NTU
  • ST-731SS-T – 0 to 10 NTU

Stable Readings, Low Maintenance

The optics measure scattered light at 90° (ISO 7027) through filters that tolerate heat and humidity, so no climate control is needed. The sensors are not easily upset by fouling, particles or air bubbles.

Each sensor gives a 4–20 mA output and RS-485 Modbus. With a Pyxis Bluetooth® adapter, it can be cleaned, checked and calibrated from the uPyxis® app, including calibration against the process water itself, without taking it out of the line.

Ideal for Data Centre Cooling

Pyxis designed the ST-730SS-T for the high-pressure cooling loops that serve AI servers. Turbidity shows suspended particles, corrosion products and biological growth in the coolant, so a change can be acted on before it fouls cold plates or heat exchangers.

With 24 V DC operation, 1 W power consumption, stainless steel construction and direct connection to plant control systems, the sensors suit critical cooling systems.
