Designed for secure, reliable flow control to minimise leaks and maintenance
🔹Why Flow Fitting Connectors Matter
Flow fitting connectors ensure secure, leak-free connections in piping and chemical dosing systems. They help maintain accurate flow rates, reduce the risk of leaks or contamination, and make installation and maintenance easier and faster.
By choosing the right fittings, customers save time, minimise downtime, and protect their equipment from unexpected failures — delivering long-term reliability and cost savings.
🔹Why Choose Tefen Flow Fittings?
Tefen flow fittings are engineered for durability and precision, ensuring leak-free connections and reliable performance in various applications. Manufactured under a stringent ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, these fittings meet high standards of quality and consistency. Their robust design minimizes maintenance needs and reduces downtime, making them a dependable choice for industries requiring efficient fluid handling solutions.
Which Tefen fitting?
| Plastic tube, 6–12 mm O.D., with a nut that grips it | Barb-Block |
| Flexible hose, held on a barb with a clip | Hose Fittings |
| Thread to thread: nipples, adaptors, elbows, tees, plugs | Threaded Connectors |
| Plastic tube, 4–12 mm O.D., pushed straight in | Tight Push |
| A line connected and disconnected often | Quick Release |
| Shutting off, setting or protecting a flow | Valves |
| Strong acids and other aggressive chemicals | Tefen Flow Fitting PVDF |
Barb-Block Fittings – reinforced polypropylene
Push-on compression fittings for plastic tube from 6 to 12 mm (¼″ to ½″) outside diameter. The tube goes over a barb and a nut tightens down over it. There are no rubber seals, so they keep sealing for a long service life, and the tube resists pulling out.
How to fit: slide the nut onto the tube, push the tube onto the barb, then tighten the nut onto the barb’s thread.
- Material: reinforced polypropylene
- Working pressure: up to 14 bar (200 psi) at 20 °C
- Temperature: 4 to 90 °C (subject to application)
- Threads: BSPT and NPT
- Shapes: straight, reducing and union connectors; male and female connectors; union, reducing and female elbows; union, reducing and branch tees
- Food contact: EU 1935/2004 (blue polypropylene)
Datasheet: Reinforced Polypropylene (PDF) – every part number, size and dimension.
Need it in PVDF, for strong acids and other aggressive chemicals? See Tefen Flow Fitting PVDF.
Hose Fittings – nylon 6-6
Hose barbs for flexible rubber and plastic hose in domestic, industrial and general use. The sizes are the barb’s true outside diameter, to match the hose’s inside diameter.
How to fit: push the hose onto the barb all the way to the stop, and secure it with a snap clip of the right size.
- Material: nylon 6-6, strong and impact resistant
- Working pressure: up to 14 bar (200 psi) at 20 °C
- Temperature: −20 to 110 °C (subject to application)
- Threads: BSPT and NPT
- Shapes: male and female hose connectors; straight, reducing and union connectors; elbows; union, reducing and branch tees; female swivel connectors
- Food contact: FDA 21 CFR (blue, grey and black nylon 6-6); EU 1935/2004 (blue)
Datasheet: Hose Fittings (PDF) – every part number, size and dimension.
Threaded Connectors – nylon 6-6
Plastic pipe-thread fittings to join, reduce, branch or close threaded connections: nipples, adaptors, bushings, couplings, elbows, tees, caps and plugs, and panel mounting nuts.
- Material: nylon 6-6
- Working pressure: up to 14 bar (200 psi) at 20 °C
- Temperature: −20 to 110 °C (subject to application)
- Threads: BSPT and NPT, ⅛″ to ¾″
- Shapes: hex and reducing nipples; pipe adaptors and bushings; couplings and reducing couplings; elbows and reducing elbows; tees, reducing branch and run tees; caps, hex plugs and panel mounting nuts
- Food contact: FDA 21 CFR (blue, grey and black nylon 6-6); EU 1935/2004 (blue)
Datasheet: Threaded Connectors (PDF) – every part number, size and dimension.
Tight Push Fittings – acetal
Push-in fittings for plastic tube from 4 to 12 mm (3/16″ to ½″) outside diameter. An NBR O-ring seals around the outside of the tube, which leaves a full bore inside: low pressure loss, and a smooth flow of liquid or air.
- Material: acetal (black), NBR O-ring
- Working pressure: up to 14 bar (200 psi) at 20 °C
- Temperature: −20 to 90 °C (subject to application)
- Threads: BSPT
- Shapes: union and reducing connectors; female connectors; union and male elbows; male branch and run tees
Datasheet: Tight Push (PDF) – every part number, size and dimension.
Quick Release Couplings
Push-to-connect couplings for a line that is connected and disconnected often. The outer sleeve locks the plug into the socket, and when the plug comes out, the socket shuts off the line by itself. Plugs are made for hydraulic or pneumatic use.
- Materials: nylon 6-6 body, acetal internal parts, stainless steel spring and ball
- Socket: ¼″ BSPT female, with an NBR or EPDM O-ring
- Plugs: ¼″ BSPT internal or external thread, or a hose connector for 5 to 12 mm hose
- Working pressure: up to 14 bar (200 psi) at 20 °C
- Temperature: 4 to 90 °C (subject to application)
Datasheet: Quick Release (PDF) – every part number, size and dimension.
Valves
Small plastic valves to shut off, divert, set or protect a flow, resistant to pressure and chemicals.
- Dual Tech valve: ¼″ BSPT, in acetal, polypropylene or PVDF
- Quatro Tech valve: polypropylene, ¼″ BSPT with ⅛″ or ¼″ thread or an 8 mm barb
- Needle valves: fine flow (10–100 L/h, Viton seals) and high flow (100–1,000 L/h, EPDM seals), ½″ BSPP, reinforced polypropylene; and a ¼″ acetal needle valve
- Line check valves: ½″ to 1″, with Viton or EPDM seals
- Ratings: polypropylene up to 10 bar, −5 to 60 °C; acetal and PVDF up to 16 bar, −20 to 90 °C; line check valves up to 16 bar, 0 to 60 °C (all at 20 °C, subject to application). See the datasheet for each valve.
