Liquid Level Controller LC-1
The liquid level controller combines an electronic control module with two liquid level switches, giving a ready-to-go system for the automatic filling or emptying of tanks and vessels. The control module is mounted in a weather-resistant NEMA 4 / IP66 box and is delivered pre-wired, ready to connect.
Two-point pump up / pump down control
An upper and a lower level switch set the two points between which the liquid level is held. The electronic latching control module starts the pump at one switch and stops it at the other, so the level difference can be set to suit the tank. Its design eliminates false starts caused by turbulent wave action.
- 30 A DPST motor contactor output, for pumps up to 1½ hp at 120 VAC or 3 hp at 240 VAC
- Secondary 10 A SPDT relay output
- 120 or 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz models
- Colour-coded, ring-labelled terminal strip
- Two ½″ seal-tight flexible conduit fittings
- Maintenance and check-out need only a standard multimeter
- Supplied with complete operating instructions, an installation and wiring diagram for the level switches and control module, and a numbered parts list
Use it with two of our liquid level switches, such as the Level Switch L-40.

- Air conditioning systems
- Industrial refrigeration systems
- Cooling in data centres
- Pools and spas
- Chillers
- Scrubbers

Pump up – filling a tank
When the liquid falls to the lower level switch, the control module starts the pump and keeps it running until the liquid reaches the upper level switch.
Pump down – emptying a tank
When the liquid rises to the upper level switch, the control module starts the pump and keeps it running until the liquid falls to the lower level switch.
