Chem-Tech Diaphragm and Peristaltic Metering Pumps

Chem-Tech Metering Pumps

Simple, reliable dosing for water treatment

Chem-Tech pumps by Pulsafeeder have served water treatment professionals for more than 50 years: simple to run, easy to maintain and affordable to own. Choose a motor-driven diaphragm pump or a peristaltic pump, from 0.47 to 15.8 L/h and up to 8.6 bar.

Every Chem-Tech is tested and rated hot, so its flow and pressure ratings hold in real service.

Two kinds of pump

  • Diaphragm pumps – 100/150 Series and Degassing Series: a motor-driven diaphragm in a sealless, leak-free head, for dependable dosing with little maintenance
  • Peristaltic pumps – XP and XPV Series: self-priming and off-gas tolerant, ideal for chlorine and other chemicals that give off gas

Not sure which pump suits you? Use our Dosing Pump Selector, or ask us.

XPV SeriesPeristaltic, variable speed1.3 – 15.88.6LCD; 4–20 mA, Hall effect or water meter; cycle or daily timer; flow totaliserChlorine and volatile chemicals

Diaphragm pumps

  • Few moving parts and a sealed gear train, for low maintenance and long life
  • Output fully adjustable over the whole range
  • Quad ball check system; check balls visible on the 100/150 Series
  • Bleed valve on the 100/150 Series, for priming and relieving discharge pressure
  • Degassing head on the Degassing Series: a top-mounted vent returns gas bubbles to the tank, so the pump never vapour-locks
  • Injection back-pressure valve that stops siphoning

Peristaltic pumps

  • Norprene tube: the only part that touches the chemical
  • Triple roller assembly: pumps liquid and gas without vapour lock, and stops siphoning – no foot valve or anti-siphon valve needed
  • Rugged all-metal gears in a sealed metal housing
  • Tool-free tube replacement, with stainless steel wing bolts
  • XP: fixed or adjustable rate (20:1); pulse, dry-contact or flow-switch input; 7-day, 8-event timer models
  • XPV: variable speed with LCD display; scalable 4–20 mA, Hall-effect or contacting-head water meter input; cycle or daily timers; flow totaliser

Water Conditioning

For cooling towers, boilers, pools and general water conditioning: the diaphragm 100/150 Series for pH adjustment with soda ash or caustic; the Degassing Series and the peristaltic XP and XPV for chlorine, hydrogen peroxide and other chemicals that give off gas.
