Keep Debris Out of the Dosing Pump
A Y-strainer goes in the suction line between the chemical tank and the dosing pump. Grit, scale, crystals and other debris from the tank are caught in its screen before they can jam the pump’s check valves or damage the pump head.
The screen sits in the angled leg of the Y and is reached by unscrewing the hex cap, so it can be cleaned without removing the strainer from the line. The clear PVC version shows when the screen needs cleaning.
Sizes and Materials
½” to 2″ (DN 15 – DN 50), in PVC, clear PVC, CPVC, PVDF or 316 SS, with threaded (BSP or NPT), socket, union and flanged ends, including metric versions. The standard screen is 0.8 mm perforated; finer stainless mesh screens are available.
