Pyxis ST-73x Ultra-Low Series
The LT-73X Series provides advanced turbidity measurement ranging from 0.001 to 1,000 NTU, offering ultra-low resolution. Each sensor complies with ISO-7027 and EPA-180.1 standards and features a unique flat quartz glass surface for easy maintenance and prevention of air bubble interference.
Designed for high accuracy, the sensors use a 90° surface scatter configuration and are available in two installation options: the FR-100 Flow Reservoir or FT-100 Inline Tee. This versatility makes them ideal for both drinking water and industrial water applications.
The LT-73X Series is available with Warm White Light (LED) or Infrared LED (860nm), and operates with a 24 VDC/2W power supply. It provides both 4-20 mA and RS-485 Modbus output signals for seamless integration.
With calibration stability of less than 0.02 NTU for up to one year without recalibration, these sensors ensure long-term accuracy. Additionally, they feature Bluetooth connectivity for wireless diagnostics, cleaning, and calibration via the uPyxis APP, using the MA-CR Bluetooth Adapter.
LT-73X Series – Cleaning and Calibration
The LT-73X Series ultra-low turbidity sensors are designed for exceptional stability and ease of maintenance. Regular cleaning ensures the sensors continue to operate effectively without frequent calibration. When properly maintained, Pyxis Lab guarantees calibration stability of <0.02 NTU drift per year. In most water applications, when paired with the FR-100 (Flow Reservoir) or FT-100 (In-Line Tee), these sensors can remain accurate and precise for up to one month without cleaning. However, the frequency of cleaning and calibration will depend on the level of contaminants, such as suspended solids, iron, manganese, oil, and bacteria.
When calibration is necessary, the LT-73X Series offers convenient wireless diagnostics, cleaning, and calibration via the MA-CR or PowerPACK Series Bluetooth adapters and the uPyxis APP (for mobile or desktop). The Pyxis LT-SOLID-CAL Solid State Turbidity Calibration Kit enables rapid Zero, Mid, and High Range Slope calibration without the need for liquid calibration standards. For Zero calibration, users can use the pre-cleaned reservoir or inline tee along with a certified Formazin turbidity calibration standard for Slope calibration. Both solid-state and liquid calibrations provide a resolution of 0.01 NTU, while a 0.001 NTU resolution requires factory calibration.
