Water Meter with Pulse Output

Industrial Water Meter with Pulse Output

A high-accuracy multi-jet water meter designed for reliable flow measurement in commercial and industrial applications. This meter features a magnetic drive system and reed switch pulse output, making it ideal for integration with chemical dosing systems, PLCs, and remote monitoring solutions.

Key Features

  • Multi-jet impeller design for stable and accurate measurement
  • Pulse output for connection to controllers and monitoring systems
  • Magnetic drive with hermetically sealed dry dial register
  • Built-in strainer for debris protection
  • Frost-resistant register design
  • Epoxy-coated body for corrosion resistance (cold water models)
  • Available in multiple sizes (DN15 to DN50 / 15 mm to 50 mm)
  • Suitable for potable water applications
  • ISO 4064 compliant accuracy standards

Applications

  • Chemical dosing systems
  • Water treatment plants
  • Pool and aquatic facilities
  • Industrial flow monitoring
  • Irrigation and process water systems

Technical Information

  • Nominal pressure rating: PN16 (rated for pressures up to 16 bar at a reference temperature of approximately 20°C.)
  • Temperature range: up to 40°C (standard cold water version)
  • Hot water versions available up to 90°C
  • Pulse output scaling:
    – DN15 to DN40 : 1 pulse per litre
    – DN50 : 1 pulse per 10 litres

Installation

  • Supplied complete with couplings.
  • Must be installed horizontally, with the direction of flow matching the arrow cast into the meter body and the register face positioned upwards.
  • Designed for clean water applications. A strainer is recommended upstream of the meter to capture debris that could damage the meter.
  • For accurate flow measurement, install with a minimum of 10 pipe diameters of straight pipe upstream and 5 pipe diameters downstream.
  • The water meter must not be submerged.
  • Isolation valves must be installed upstream and downstream to allow maintenance or replacement.
  • The nominal diameter of the meter should be selected according to the flow rate in the pipeline.
  • Maximum recommended distance between the meter and data collector: ≤100 m.
