GRIFFCO Gauge & Instrument Guards
Accurate Pressure Readings Without Chemical in the Gauge
A gauge guard sits between the process line and a pressure gauge or pressure switch. The chemical presses on one side of a flexible diaphragm; on the other side, a sealed fill liquid passes the pressure on to the gauge.
The gauge shows the true line pressure but never touches the chemical, so it is not corroded or blocked and keeps reading correctly. Guards work in any mounting position.
Supplied Complete
Guards can be supplied fitted with a gauge (Economy, Mid-Range or Premium, or a compound vacuum/pressure gauge), with a pressure switch for an alarm, or on their own. Gauge ranges run from 0 – 1 bar to 0 – 21 bar.
Bodies come in PVC, CPVC, polypropylene and PVDF, or 316 SS, Alloy 20 and Hastelloy C, with a Viton® diaphragm as standard (PTFE or Hypalon® optional), in ¼” to ½” sizes.
