IK-1500 Series Smart Sensor Module for AI Critical CDUs
Complete Coolant Quality Monitoring on One Panel
The Pyxis IK-1500 is a factory-built stainless steel panel that monitors the coolant in a data centre coolant distribution unit (CDU). It measures pH, conductivity, turbidity, glycol concentration and temperature continuously, from one side-stream connection.
Each sensor arrives fitted, wired, tested and calibrated. The panel only needs connecting to the sample line and a 24 V DC supply: plumb, power and go.
The Sensors on the Panel
- ST-710SS pH sensor, with replaceable electrode head
- ST-722 conductivity sensor
- ST-730SS-T turbidity sensor, removable without shutting the system down
- RT-100 Series PRISM™ inline refractometer for ethylene or propylene glycol
- ST-009-03 stainless steel three-sensor flow cell
Two versions are available: the IK-1500, with the RT-100 refractometer and its own display and data logging, and the smaller IK-1500A, with the RT-110L refractometer (no display).
Connects to the Systems You Already Use
Every sensor has its own transmitter with 4–20 mA and RS-485 Modbus outputs, so readings and alarms go straight to the CDU controls, PLC, BMS, EPMS or DCIM platform.

Ideal for Data Centre Cooling
Liquid-cooled AI and high-performance computing loads depend on coolant that stays within its design chemistry. The IK-1500 watches the key measures together, so a problem shows up early:
- pH and conductivity show whether corrosion control is working and the inhibitor is still effective in mixed-metal loops.
- Turbidity gives early warning of particles, corrosion products or biological growth that can foul cold plates, microchannels and heat exchangers.
- Glycol concentration confirms freeze protection, heat transfer and the correct coolant mix in CDU secondary loops.
Trending all five readings together lets operators link chemistry changes to system events, and act before cooling performance or equipment suffers.
