Introducing the HM-500 Oil in Water Sensor
The HM-500 Oil in Water Sensor measures oil concentration in water at ranges of 0-10 ppm, with automatic compensation for colour and turbidity interference. By using the MA-WB Bluetooth® Adapter, you can monitor, calibrate, and check sensor cleanliness wirelessly via the uPyxis® app.
The Pyxis Lab® HM-500 series fluorometer sensors are designed for precision, measuring oil in water with a UV-fluorescence methodology at 365nm. What makes these sensors unique is their ability to automatically compensate for real-world interferences like colour and turbidity in the water, handling up to 150 NTU. This ensures high accuracy, even in challenging conditions.
Built for practicality, the HM-500 series is designed with a short fluidic channel, making it much easier to clean compared to traditional sensors with long, narrow fluidic cells. Unlike other inline fluorometers, which can be difficult to maintain and are prone to fouling, the HM-500 series offers easy cleaning and reliability.
For added convenience, you can conduct wireless inline diagnostics on sensor cleanliness using the uPyxis® app for both mobile and desktop devices, helping you predict maintenance needs and improve performance.
