PC5100 Programmable Controller is a powerful and versatile device that offers advanced control of water chemistry for commercial swimming pools and spas. It features a comprehensive range of monitoring and control functions, including Free and Total chlorine level with direct reading in PPM or mg/l, UV control to monitor high combined chlorine (Chloramine), pH with dedicated setpoint and relay output for both co2 & acid, ORP monitoring for sanitizer reference and oxidizer control backup, TDS control with optional dump valve, as well as temperature and heating control, automatic filter pump control, automatic water level control and more.
The PC5100 controller has remote access and control, data logging and reporting with a user-friendly interface and enhanced customization options, making it easy to have precise control over all your critical water quality parameters.

Remote monitoring and control: The PC5100 can be monitored and controlled remotely via a cloud-based web server. This allows you to access the controller from anywhere in the world, 24/7.
pH control: The PC5100 has a choice of acid/co2 or base feed with dedicated setpoint and relay output for both co2 & Acid.
PPM boost: The PC5100 has both primary and secondary sanitiser setpoints with dedicated relay outputs.
UV control: The PC5100 has UV control via 4-20mA or with a dedicated relay output to monitor high combined chlorine (chloramine) levels.
Programmable super-chlorination + chemical savings cycles: The PC5100 can be programmed to automatically perform super-chlorination cycles to shock your pool or spa, or to reduce the amount of chemicals you use by scheduling chemical feed cycles during off-peak hours.

PC5100 Installation
In our commitment to simplify the installation process of CHEMTROL® controllers, we have streamlined everything onto a customized assembly manifold, prepared for easy connection.
This approach ensures proper water sampling around the sensors, facilitating a hassle-free installation that minimizes the integration work required to get your water treatment system operational.
PC5100 – Bypass line assembly
Dual PPM control integrated with pH, ORP, TDS, and temperature.
Seamless controller setup: Choose between hardwired dosing pumps or General Purpose Outlets (GPOs) for easy dosing equipment connection.
Our Flow Cell Assembly (FCA) features 2 clear acrylic flow cells for Chlorine sensors (ppm), 2 flow control valves, a water sample valve, safety flow switch, and probes holder fitting.
The Controller assembly includes a grey PVC backboard (600×400 mm), while the By-pass line assembly features a grey PVC backboard (600×500 mm).
PC5100 Operation
The CHEMTROL® Programmable Controller range provides comprehensive control and monitoring capabilities through its user-friendly interface. Here’s a breakdown of its key features:
Main Display Screen: The main screen offers direct access to all menus and submenus, allowing easy navigation using the four directional arrow keys and a ten-key keypad for numerical settings.
SANITIZER MENU: Used for controlling chlorine or bromine levels with an amperometric sensor. This menu allows the selection of control mode, sensor calibration setpoint level, and high and low alarms. Additionally, it displays runtime information and enables manual or scheduled super chlorination treatments.
pH MENU: Similar to the SANITIZER MENU, this menu selects pH control parameters using acid or base feed. It also includes an Acid Wash program for periodic sensor maintenance.
ORP MENU: This menu allows for the selection of control mode, sensor calibration, setpoint level, high and low alarms, shocking, and chemical saver programs related to Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP). It also displays run time information and enables manual or scheduled super chlorination treatments treatments.
SATURATION and WATER BALANCE: Ensures proper control of saturation and water balance to maintain water quality and prevent scaling or corrosive conditions.
TDS MENU: Sets automatic dumping of water when dissolved solid concentrations are high. It includes options for Conductivity or TDS control setpoints to activate the dump valve.
Langelier Index: Calculates the saturation condition based on pH, Temperature, Alkalinity, and Calcium Hardness. Constantly displayed on the Main Screen, it alerts to potential scaling or corrosive conditions.
TEMPERATURE / HEATER CONTROL: Displays temperature sensor readings and controls the heater. The TEMPERATURE MENU allows setting the heater control to Manual or Automatic with a programmable seven-day schedule.
PUMP AND FILTER CONTROL: Provides manual or programmable operation of the main recirculation pump and backwashing cycle, ensuring efficient filtration and protection of the heater.
SETUP MENU: Allows modification of configuration parameters for initialization, operations, and communications, providing flexibility to adapt to changing needs.

Remote Monitoring & Control
Our range of programmable controllers all have remote access capability, so you can control and monitor your facility 24/7.
With the remote operation function any number of facilities can be controlled and monitored from your computer, or via our mobile App. From a computer simply login directly via your browser using our web-server where the controller display is mirrored on your computer.
True duplex operation that allows real-time control and troubleshooting of all operating functions, including status reports, trend graphs and automatic alerts by email or text messages. You can also access and control your controller via our dedicated app, available for Android and Apple devices.
In terms of connecting your controller, this can be achieved via a wired Ethernet cable, WIFI signal, or by using a wireless connection with a compatible 4G or 5G router.
