Blade-Style Flow Switch

Blade Style Flow Switch: Reliable Flow Verification for Multiple Applications

The Blade Style Flow Switch has been a reliable choice in fluid control industries, including Pool & Spa, since the 1980s. With adjustable parameters, it adapts to various applications.

It verifies fluid flow to prevent issues like freezing in chillers, ensures sufficient flow in salt chlorine generators, safeguards water heaters in spas, and activates home water disinfection systems when needed. This versatile switch provides critical flow protection across different systems, enhancing operational safety and efficiency.

Typical Working Fluids

For use in a broad spectrum of industrial fluids, such as:

  • Cooling Tower Water
  • Water (pools, spas, saltwater, pure, tap, etc.)
  • Glycol Solutions Lubricating Oils
  • Mild Acids Gasoline
  • Plating Solutions JP-4

Standard Features

  • Handles up to five times the normal flow rate.
  • Positive stop mechanism reduces the effects of turbulence, vibration, and flow surges.
  • Low pressure drop, typically under 1.0 psig at normal flow.
  • Compact design for easy mounting in tight spaces.
  • Powers small relays (including 30A power relays).
  • Switches 5VDC to 240VAC.
  • Utilizes magnetic coupling for operation.
  • Compatible with pipes ranging from 3/4″ to 6″.
