The CHEMTROL® programmable controllers introduce an innovative technology known as Probe Failure Analysis (US Patent No. 6,657,546). Unlike conventional controllers that only detect probe failures after an alarm condition arises, CHEMTROL®’s Probe Failure Analysis offers dynamic testing of the ORP and pH sensors to detect failures immediately.
How It Works
Traditional controllers wait for an alarm condition to trigger before detecting a sensor failure. In contrast, the CHEMTROL® controller continuously tests the sensor’s response. If a sensor fails to respond correctly, the system can instantly detect the issue, preventing dangerous out-of-range conditions that could impact water quality or system safety.
