Complete plant room automation from one CHEMTROL® controller

The PC5100 + ACI brings water chemistry and the plant room together under one controller. The PC5100 looks after water quality: free and total chlorine, pH, ORP, TDS and temperature. The Automation Control Interface (ACI), a CHEMTROL® switchboard built for your facility, runs the pumps, filters, heaters, UV and make-up water.
Everything is pre-wired, programmed and tested before it leaves us, so commissioning takes days instead of weeks. Operators work from one familiar screen, on site or remotely, with no PLC programming to learn.

How it connects
Sensors and dosing connect to the PC5100; plant equipment runs through the ACI. The ACI is connected to the PC5100 by Modbus, so it can be programmed with any information the plant room needs from the controller. Modbus IP and BACnet IP are also available for a building management system (BMS).

The Automation Control Interface (ACI)
A smart CHEMTROL® switchboard, built and tested in our workshop to each client’s specification: any number of pumps, heaters and VSDs, single or 3-phase. It is connected to the PC5100 by Modbus and programmed with whatever information the plant room needs from the controller.
The filter pumps are connected to the ACI, so if the PC5100 is switched off, the ACI keeps them running safely.
