DW-2100P Multi-Parameter Inline Analyzers for Drinking Water

The Pyxis DW-2100P is a complete drinking water monitoring panel. It measures ultra-low turbidity, free chlorine, pH and temperature continuously, shows them on a 7″ touch screen and logs them. Pyxis assembles, tests and calibrates it before shipping: connect the sample line, the drains and power, and it is ready to run.

Two Pyxis sensors share one FR-200 flow reservoir: an LT-739 series turbidity sensor and an ST-765SS-FCL sensor for free chlorine, pH and temperature. Both talk to the display over RS-485, so calibration and diagnostics are done on the touch screen.

Two versions, differing only in the turbidity sensor:

  • DW-2100P-US (42135) – LT-739 sensor, warm-white LED, USEPA 180.1 (US)
  • DW-2100P-EU (42136) – LT-739B sensor, 860 nm infrared LED, ISO 7027

Calm Water, Steady Readings

The FR-200 reservoir slows the sample so air bubbles escape and solids settle before the water reaches the sensors. That is what lets the turbidity reading hold steady down to 0.001 NTU, and the reservoir works from an inlet pressure as low as 0.5 bar, so it can sample at the far end of a network.

The free chlorine reading is not selective: other oxidisers in the water add to it.

For water authorities, councils and building managers who need to watch disinfection and clarity together: reservoirs and network sampling points, secondary supply such as building tanks, swimming and decorative water, and food and beverage process water.

Key Features

  • Turbidity 0.001 – 40 NTU, resolution 0.001 NTU
  • Free chlorine 0.01 – 5.00 ppm, pH 0.01 – 14.00, and temperature
  • Bare-gold chlorine sensor: no membrane, electrolyte or reagents
  • Chlorine reading compensated for pH and temperature up to pH 9
  • Flat sensor faces that are quick to wipe clean
  • FR-200 reservoir clears bubbles and settles solids
  • 7″ colour touch screen, up to 1 million records, USB download
  • Two 4–20 mA outputs, RS-485 Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP over Ethernet

Mounting and Plumbing

The panel mounts on a wall: 790 mm high, 450 mm wide, 235 mm deep, about 20 kg.

  • Sample pressure 0.5 – 2 bar (7.25 – 30 psi), ¼” OD inlet tube
  • A rotameter and pressure-reducing valve come loose, to fit if the water quality allows
  • Keep the flow steady at 1,200 – 1,800 mL/min
  • The 20 mm outlet and the ⅜” overflow both drain by gravity
  • Power 96 – 260 V AC, 50 – 60 Hz, 200 W; mains wiring by a licensed electrician

Maintenance

  • Monthly: clean the inlet filter and the FR-200 reservoir
  • Every 6 months: calibrate pH, turbidity and free chlorine
  • Replace the EH-765 electrode head on the chlorine sensor when it wears out
